Does anyone have any personal experience or information to share about local grassroots efforts to get universities to include domestic partner benefits in their health insurance? My school has them (yay!), but my sister's college doesn't, and a group of us are preparing to mass a campaign to get them to change it.
Especially appreciated would be anyone in academia who has first-hand information about what their college/university offers to faculty/staff and/or grad student workers in terms of domestic partner coverage, but I would welcome any thoughts on the matter. Thanks, Mia
