REPOST of workplace survey request

Hi all,

Some of you may have already participated in this survey -- but just in case, I wanted to repost the link once more as I prepare to close the project.

Here is some information about the study:

We are conducting a study about the workplace experiences of transgender individuals in North America. With this study we hope to contribute to the understanding of the experiences and needs of transgender people. Participation in our study will involve completing a survey online and will take approximately 20 minutes.

In order to participate you must:
• be 18 or older
• reside in the United States, Canada, or Mexico
• be somewhere on the transgender spectrum (for example, genderqueer, M-to-F, F-to-M, androgynous)
• be employed at the current time

Your participation is very important to us in that it will help us learn about the workplace experiences of transgender people. There are no anticipated risks or compensation to you as a participant in this study and your participation is completely voluntary. You will be asked to respond anonymously to questions about your experiences and beliefs. General demographic information, such as gender and age, will be used only to describe the sample as a group. You do not have to answer any question you do not wish to answer.

*** Just to clarify, there has been some confusion on one of the measures about outness. You do not need to respond to an item if it does not apply to you (so if you are not religious, you don't need to respond to an item that asks about being "out" at church).

If you, or anyone you know, would like to participate please feel free to pass on this link:

This community (and the LJ transgender community) has been awesome in providing advice for future research and participating in this study. I greatly appreciate all of the help!
