Just a few thoughts

I was reading over la_luna_llena's recent post and am just shocked at the responses.

Part of my problem with the history of the gay movement is the shutting down of alternate ideas and ways of expression in order to present a false unified front. But when it comes to something like wearing armbands and giving money to a good cause?

Many people here have differing ideas of fashion, the best way to support our particular causes, and histories. All our empathy goes out to those here who have had difficult times in thier life, but why do we have to attack someone who has not had as much bad as we have because they want to support some good.

I agree with the statement, "against abortion, don't have one" but i did not think anyone would disagree with "against wristbands, don't buy one."
