I'll take femmephobia for $200, Alex!

As inspired by sisterartist and sparkle_shortz and my own fevered rage:

Femmes and their supporters/allies:
1. Define femme - not just for yourself, but as an identity. If your version of femme requires modifiers to feel right, please describe and explain them.

2. What's the most ignorant, offensive, adulatory, empowering, stupid, well-meaning but rude, uplifting, and/or misogynistic/phobic thing anyone has ever said to you (or you have heard said to a femme friend)? Do you experience this kind of treatment (preferential or discriminatory) often or was it a rare event?

3. Do you, as a femme, experience discrimination, mistreatment, privilege, special treatment, free drinks, unwanted sexual attention, invisibility, or other femme-specific advantages and disadvantages? Tell us about 'em.

4. Do you, as a non-femme, have questions, concerns, prejudice, admiration, envy, uncertainty, scorn, confusion, belittling, or biases related to femme identity? Tell us about 'em.

Let's call this all out on the carpet. Lest it need saying, the usual rules about no personal attacks and using your I statements are ESPECIALLY and VERY MUCH in effet for this topic, thanks.

(Crossposted like a crossposted thing.)

Edit: why am I so mad? Could have something to do with this, this which led to this, and most of all this.
