Hi and hrmph!

HI There! My name is Adrianne. I'm a 21 year old dyke from Queens, NYC. I just joined this wonderful community. I've been reading back some entries, and thought that this would be the perfect place to ask for opinions on something that has been bothering me lately.

This study suggests that being a homo is "natural." This then says to the public that "people did not choose to be this way, it is a defect in their brain, and therefor they are not disobeying God." It is all about religion. Why would there be any other reason to "research" homosexuality. It really bothers me that "scientists" need to know what is "fucked up" in my head so that I can exist. Your opinion?

My opinion is that I honestly wouldn't even care if somebody "chose" to be queer or not. I do not care what you do, or how you're doing it, as long as you are not infringing upon other people's rights.

Do you think that once they find the "reason" we're queer, that they will start to try to find a "cure."

This all irks me!
