Here's the deal:
Friday: we meet at 7:30 at Ike. Why? They're not too spendy, not terrifically loud, they have yummy food and tasty cocktails, and they're centrally located should we decide to venture forth.
Saturday (pay attention!): we meet between 1:30 and 2 PM at Coney Island's Astroland to view (and participate in) the Mermaid Parade! We'll be dressed appropriately - you should make the effort, too!
We leave Coney Island after a few hours of mermaid mayhem, and will be meeting up on the southwest corner of 23rd and 5th Avenue between 5:30 and 6 PM. When enough of us have gathered, we'll blend in and march off down the street!
If you manage to miss all of this, call M's cell (917-302-6825) and see where we ended up. We may do the Dyke Ball (crappy music, but easy to find), we may hit the Color Me Queer party (better music, but further afield), or hey! We may go somewhere else entirely. If you aren't already with us, call and see where we might be.
Sunday: We're doing Pride, baby. Details to follow. Like probably everyone else in the city, we're doing a bridal theme....you have been warned.
Here's what I need to know:
* Are you coming?
* With how many other people?
* To which events?
Just so's I know how many to expect, and how long to stand around on various street corners tapping my platforms.
