Seattle Protest Saturday + a Handy Letter Writing Tool

Thanks [Bad username: angryasiangrrl'>! Just stopping by as <lj user=] posted this great way to send letters.
http://www.georgewbush.com/GetActive/WriteNewspapers.aspx?.
Yes. It's George Bush's website!...it's this nice automated system, type in your zip code and it pulls up a list of ALL your local papers. Click on the ones you want and then type in YOUR LETTER in YOUR WORDS with YOUR SUBJECT to send as a letter to the editor to these papers. Just ignore the 'support bush' logos in the periphery and use the machine against itself :)

SEATTLE PROTEST- SATURDAY
please pass on to folks in this area or fly in, stay over and help me pack LOL

Jackson Federal Office Bldg, 2nd Avenue Plaza
915 Second Ave., Seattle

When: Saturday, February 28, 2004, Noon.

We have a very short period of time to pull this together. The most importantthing people can do between now and then is spread the word and turn out as many people as possible. If you have time make signs, banners, etc. But most important of all, help increase turnout. Use your email, tell all your friends and ask them to do the same thing.
